1. Acutely – sharply, तीक्ष्णता

Meaning – (with reference to something unpleasant or unwelcome) intensely.

Usage – “the whole situation was acutely embarrassing”

Synonyms – extremely, exceedingly, very, markedly, severely, intensely, in the extreme, deeply, profoundly, keenly, sharply, painfully, desperately, awfully, terribly, tremendously, enormously etc.

2. Parched – dried, सूखा

Meaning – make or become dry through intense heat.

Usage – “a piece of grassland parched by the sun”

Synonyms – : dry, as dry as a bone, bone dry, dried up, dried out, arid, waterless, desiccated, dehydrated, sun-baked, baked, burned, scorched, seared, withered, shrivelled etc.

3. Deterioration – worsening, बिगड़ना

Meaning – the process of becoming progressively worse.

Usage – “a deterioration in the condition of the patient”

Synonyms – worsening, decline, decay, collapse, failure, fall, drop, downturn, slump, slip, slide, stagnation, waning, ebb, retrogression etc.

4. Bereft – unhappy, दुःख

Meaning – deprived of or lacking (something

Usage – “her room was stark and bereft of colour”

Synonyms – deprived of, robbed of, stripped of, denuded of; cut off from, parted from, devoid of, destitute of, bankrupt of; wanting, in need of, lacking, without, free from; low on, short of, deficient in etc.

5. Languished – fade, गिरना

Meaning – (of a person, animal, or plant) lose or lack vitality; grow weak.

Usage – “plants may appear to be languishing simply because they are dormant”

Synonyms – : weaken, grow weak, deteriorate, decline, go into a decline; wither, droop, flag, wilt, fade, fail etc.

6. Enormous – big, बड़ा

Meaning – very large in size, quantity, or extent.

Usage – “enormous sums of money”

Synonyms – huge, vast, extensive, expansive, broad, wide; boundless, immeasurable, limitless, infinite, cosmic, gigantic, very big, very large, great, giant, massive, colossal, mammoth, immense, tremendous, mighty, stupendous, monumental, epic, prodigious, mountainous, monstrous, titanic, towering etc.

7. Fetched – unreal, अवास्तविक

Meaning – go for and then bring back (someone or something) for someone.

Usage – “he ran to fetch help”

Synonyms – get, go and get, go for, call for, summon, pick up, collect, bring, carry, deliver, convey, ferry, transport; escort, conduct, lead etc.

8. Abject – miserable, दयनीय

Meaning – (of something bad) experienced or present to the maximum degree.

Usage – “his letter plunged her into abject misery”

Synonyms – obsequious, grovelling, crawling, creeping, fawning, toadyish, servile, cringing, snivelling, ingratiating, toadying, sycophantic, submissive, craven, humiliating etc.

9. Congenital – inborn, जन्मजात

Meaning – (of a disease or physical abnormality) present from birth.

Usage – “a congenital malformation of the heart”

Synonyms – inborn, inherited, hereditary, in the blood, in the family, innate, inbred, constitutional, built-in, inbuilt, ingrown, natural, native, original, inherent, unlearned, instinctual etc.

10. Debilitating – weakening, कमज़ोरी

Meaning – (of a disease or condition) making someone very weak and infirm.

Usage – “debilitating back pain”
