Dear Aspirants,
The South Indian Bank Ltd. invites applications from Indian nationals for filling up vacancies of  IT Project Managers [Probationary Manager/ Senior Manager- Scale II/III]. Candidates are requested to apply ON-LINE through Bank’s website ‘www.southindianbank.com’. No other means/modes of applications will be accepted. Minimum Requirements
  • B.Tech/BE(Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation)/ M.SC (Computer Science, Information Technology)/ MCA from a recognised university.
  • Minimum 60% marks in B.Tech/BE/MSc/MCA
  • Not More than 40 years as on 31-12-2016.Candidates born between 01-01-1977 and 01-01-1987 are only eligible to apply. Please note that Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Probation
  • Minimum Period of 12 Months. Confirmation shall be subject to satisfactory performance during probation.
Salary
  • IBA approved pay scale Rs.31705-45950(ScaleII)/Rs.42020-51490(Scale III) plus DA,HRA Allowances (Kindly refer Notification)

  1. Candidates willing to work outside their home state/anywhere in India only need to apply.
  2. Candidates are advised to retain two copies of the same photograph, which was used in the application, for use at the time of interview.
  3. Mere eligibility will not vest any right/entitlement on the candidate for being called for interview.In matters regarding eligibility and selection, Bank’s decision will be final and no correspondance in this regard will be entertained.
  4. Bank reserves the right to make required modifications in the selection process considering the number of applications for the post.
  5. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
  6. If the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incomplete or incorrect, such application shall be liable to be rejected without notice.
  7. If the information furnished by the candidate is found to be false at a later date, the selection / appointment shall be liable for termination.

  • Executing successful delivery of all projects within fixed timelines, scope and budget.
  • Building structured competency frameworks on project delivery.
  • Putting in place best practices and benchmarks.
  • Resource planning and management for successful project delivery.
  • Expertise in various delivery models (iterative, agile etc).
  • Proficient in measuring project performance and reporting to all stakeholders.  Qualification/Accredition in Project Management (Traditional/Agile).
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams for achieving the goal of the project.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Executive level management reporting experience with solid presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong ability to achieve results with hands-on involvement and ability to communicate across verticals internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and personal relationship building skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, specifically skills in MS Project or other similar project management tools.
  • Skills in setting up Project Management Office and other delivery groups to adhere to program delivery framework.
  • Work experience in technology projects in banking/finance/fintechs
