It would help increase competitiveness of industries and promotion of the manufacturing sector as it would assess the parks against global standards. Industrial Park Rating System will be developed by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry to assess industrial parks in the country based on four pillars. The system would assess 200 such parks on several parameters such as sewage effluent and treatment; and water treatment.
